What are some hors d'oeuvres I can serve at a "barbecue brunch"?

I'm hosting a barbecue brunch and am waffling on what to serve. Folks will bring their favorite food for the grill and I am planning on having appetizers and/or sides ... or am I? I've never had a barbecue brunch or been to one and am wondering what your ideas might be. Thank you!
